Engage your students with their love of sports. This product is a short case study about the possibility of a new sports team extending to Austin, Texas. Students will brainstorm a sport, team name, mascot, and digital marketing campaign for the team. Students will pair and share their ideas, evaluate their responses, and share their findings with the class. This activity takes approximately 20-30 minutes.

I use this activity as a closing formative assessment after teaching digital marketing tools. I have students complete the assignment on a note card and turn it in as they leave the class.
