Description
These digital math centers include highly engaging, interactive Google Slides™ activities for practicing 2nd grade estimating and measuring length concepts. They are perfect for distance learning! The following 7 activities are included:
-Estimating Lengths Match-up: Determine the most reasonable estimate of length for various objects
-Which Unit?: Select the most reasonable unit of measurement for various objects
-Estimate & Measure: Record an estimate and then the actual measurement of various objects after dragging a moveable ruler
-Drag & Drop Measurements: Drag the correct lengths for each line using both centimeter and inch rulers
-Measuring Using Inches AND Centimeters: Measure objects twice using both inches and centimeters (the objects can be dragged to either side of the ruler)
-Measuring & Comparing Objects: Drag rulers to measure 2 objects and then record the difference in length
-Measuring & Ordering Objects: Drag rulers to measure 3 objects and then move the objects in order from shortest to longest
The units of measurements included in this resource are inches, feet, yards, centimeters, and meters. Each activity contains detailed student directions with either moveable pieces or text boxes for students to type their answers.
