This guide was designed to help teachers use an interactive ruler to explore line measurement. The guide shares a weblink to a free digital manipulative, instructions for using the manipulative, suggested uses, example questions, and answer keys. Students are asked to measure lines, create lines, compare lines, and estimate the measurement of lines.
Because of the length of the resource, I am not offering a preview. Please see my other Digital Math Manipulative products for a similar representation of this resource.
Common Core Standards Addressed:
CCSS.Math.Content.2.MD.A.3 Estimate lengths using units of inches, feet, centimeters, and meters.
CCSS.Math.Content.2.MD.A.4 Measure to determine how much longer one object is than another, expressing the length difference in terms of a standard length unit.
