Description

A set of 36 digital flash cards that offer practice with basic multiplication facts. For your convenience, this resource is offered in Google Slides format, PowerPoint format, and PDF format. You select the format that works best for your learning environment.

UPDATE NOTICE: This resource was updated on May 11, 2020, to include direct links to the Google Slides files.

To help improve memorization and fluency, the facts are quizzed in 3 rounds:

Round 1: Multiply by 9 facts in order (9 x 1 through 9 x 12)

Round 2: Multiply by 9 facts scrambled

Round 3: Multiply by 9 facts with the commutative property applied (__ x 9)

Two different versions provide versatility and differentiability:

a) Self-Checking Version – the slides come in pairs with the question on the first slide and answer on the next

b) Questions-Only Version – the same set of questions without the answer slides

Provided file formats:

PowerPoint format (for use on a computer with PowerPoint installed)

PDF format (for use on any device and for printing)

Google Slides (links are provided to make copies to your Google Drive)

To be used in Google Slides format, you will need a device that is connected to the internet and has access to Google Slides. You may also share this resource with your students in a Google Classroom environment.

Fluently multiply and divide within 100, using strategies such as the relationship between multiplication and division (e.g., knowing that 8 × 5 = 40, one knows 40 ÷ 5 = 8) or properties of operations. By the end of Grade 3, know from memory all products of two one-digit numbers.
