This is a PowerPoint based lesson on people who are first starting out using a digital camera and taking photos. It covers the basic components of the camera, how to take a photo, and how to use the basic Camera Modes for various scenes. Teachers can move through the slides, utilize the notes on each page, and have students working hands-on with their cameras as you go. It is geared primarily towards DSLR cameras, but is relevant to point-and-shoot cameras as well. This lesson can be used in a high school classroom, in a college classroom (where I primarily use it), or in any kind of adult workshop.
