Photography Class (Digital)
LIGHT PAINTING Studio
Here is a lesson for students to practice using Shutter Speed and Aperture. Students use simple LED Lights or other types of lighting to "paint" lines and patterns in the dark. If you don't have a dark enough space in the classroom this lesson can be done outside in the dark. Students would set up a tripod outside at night and experiment.
I am lucky enough to have a dark hallway heading into my "Darkroom" space where students set up a tripod and lighting to create their images during class time. This can also be done outside in the dark at night or in any darkened room on campus, look around you might have a space that would work.
