BARK, TWIGS, ROCKS & CRACKS as a Subject
Nature is a great place to start with students. Tree bark & twigs, rocks & cracks are a good starting place for students to practice composition in photography. These items are also easily found on campus (outside of the classroom) for a change of pace. Students pass this subject on a daily basis but don't stop to consider it a subject for their photography. A close up Macro setting on the camera can be helpful as well.
