Number of the Day {The Whole Year} Second Grade Bundle

Number of the Day Second Grade Math Back to School gives your students a lot of practice working with numbers, representation and relationships. Purchase before school starts to prevent the summer slide! Use this as pat of your number talks, guided practice in small groups, independent practice or for intervention.

This unit is aligned with the Second Grade Common Core Math Standards, and includes twenty days of practice with a back to school theme. The pages are divided into four sets of five with a cover page with and two final pages with a completed 120 chart and more practice counting to 1000. These pages can be used as a daily warm-up, work for early finishers or for homework.

I have used “guided math” in my classroom for over ten years. I begin my teaching block teaching/spiraling math concepts as a whole group, but most of my math time is devoted to guided practice followed by independent or small group practice, centers and intervention. I begin my math time every day with a page from my popular Number of the Day series. You may find more math in this “printable” format in my store.
