How do you showcase your student’s work? Have you considered using Google Sites for digital portfolios? This download includes links to Google Slides to make your own editable copies to personalize for your own classes. Tons of screenshots help students understand exactly where to go.
This was originally taught with one 40 minute class to set up the Google Site Digital Portfolio.
Later content classes (math, reading, social studies, and science were each used as a upload day.) In total each grade spent at least 6 classes (although some spent additional class time on the reflection process.)
Easy to start with any subject with shortcuts in opening slides.
With repeated information for multiple lessons when changing subjects..
Portfolios designed for 1 upload during the first ½ of the year (1 Semester) and 1 upload the 2nd ½ of the year.
Includes how to upload:
Reading upload includes extra artifact ideas on including fluency recordings in addition to class reading artifacts.
Includes sample artifact ideas from 4th and 5th grade classes.
This Google Site Digital Portfolio includes examples of written and audio reflection practices. We used our ChromeBooks to make audio recordings but any MP3 creator should work.
Written so student keep internally in school district so you can remind them about privacy when you are ready.
Reminders that when student upload to sites they open more access.
Sample site with is included via link so you can use as model. Sample site is written from a technology standpoint with push in items for content areas.
I’m still in the process of building our sites; this is a growing download which more will be added as the year goes on.
