This set includes three activities all about pumpkins that are pre-loaded into three different digital learning platforms. Each activity includes a short nonfiction ebook (read-aloud) followed by interactive comprehension activities. A great addition to your pumpkins unit, these activities cover "How Pumpkins Grow," "Pumpkin Parts," and "Jack-O'-Lanterns."

What You'll Get:
How Pumpkins Grow: This activity includes a short nonfiction e-book about the life cycle of a pumpkin. The book is in video form in Seesaw and Google Slides and is in slide form in Boom Learning. After students listen to the book, they will complete four drag and drop life cycle slides.
Pumpkin Parts: This activity includes a short informational e-book about the parts of a pumpkin (stem, rind, flesh, seeds, and pulp) followed by three drag and drop labeling and comprehension activities.
Jack-O'-Lanterns: This activity includes an informational e-book about how to carve a jack-o'-lantern. The comprehension activities include sequencing activities, determining which tools one would need to carve a pumpkin, and designing a jack-o'-lantern using drag and drop shapes. This is the only one of the three topics that mentions Halloween.
The Seesaw versions of each of the activities also contain an open-ended drawing slide at the end where students draw based on a simple prompt and use the recording feature to tell about their picture.
