A Hyperlink Learning Board is an idea that I developed for my students to use for
self-paced learning. This product is intended to be used in conjunction with Google Classroom.
Students will begin with a one question pre-test on Google Forms that is differentiated according to their answers. This will give teachers the information needed to place students into differentiated groups for individual and small-group learning. After the pre-test, students will work independently on the Hyperlink Learning Board loaded to Google Classroom. Students will complete several online activities by clicking on the hyperlink These activities include:
- Interactive Games
- Listening Stories
- Differentiated Activities
While students are completing the Hyperlinks Learning Board, the teacher will interact with students individually or in small groups to further enhance students’ understanding of the concept. The short quiz mid-way of the Hyperlinks Learning Board will give the teacher insight into the level of understanding for each individual student. Using the information, the teacher will assign one of the three levels of activities on Google Classroom to allow for differentiation for each student.
Students may complete activities more than once as needed throughout the unit.
