This Google Drive digital resource contains over 60 graphic organizers that can be used with any Social Studies lesson. A variety of skills are included, allowing students to show their history knowledge as well as practice applying critical thinking skills to what they've learned. Some of the skills include determining cause and effect relationships (including multiple causes and effects), comparing and contrasting, note-taking, summarizing, vocabulary practice, making connections between historical events, identifying important details about key places, people, and events, and more! Several skills have multiple graphic organizers so that students can choose how to best show their thinking.
To complete the graphic organizers, students will simply type answers in text boxes and insert pictures. They'll work at their own pace, completing everything directly in Google Slides (or Microsoft OneDrive). No prep for you; no lost papers for them!
**You’ll need an internet connection, a laptop or tablet, and a Google or Microsoft OneDrive account. Note: if you’re using a tablet, you may need to open Google Slides in the app, rather than the browser.**
When you purchase this product, you will be given access to a link that will allow you to open the file in Google Slides. You’ll then share that file with your students. You can view and print a student's completed version of the slides. The slides can also be adapted and printed for students who prefer to complete the activities by hand.
This resource includes a step-by-step tutorial explaining how to share the resource with your students (both for Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive).
Please look at the preview to see more detailed information. (Note that the images in the preview are blurry because of the upload size restraint, but the actual slides are clear!) If you have questions about this resource or requests for additional graphic organizers you'd like to see included, please feel free to email me at email@example.com!
