The following is a PowerPoint presentation I did at the Ohio Art Educators Association's (OAEA) State Conference and at the National Art Educators (NAEA) Conference on Digital Storytelling. It is a great tool to explore different apps used to create digital stories. Each one is very different and many can be used for teaching as well as learning across grade levels. It is recommended to play with each app. Most of the apps were free when this presentation was created (as listed within each slide) but that can change with time. The compatibility of each app is also explained at the bottom of each slide. I built examples within several of the apps and shared them within the presentation. More information can be found on the Internet when searching for each app. The presentation starts with apps that are easiest to use for teachers working with the younger populations and ends with more complex apps. I hope you find this tool useful as you plan and implement technology in your lessons and across curriculum within your school!
