Most phonics lessons include "word chains", which is an effective strategy to build strong reading habits in children. Students will see only one letter change at a time (slip, snip, snap, snack, stack, stick, etc.), which trains them to look and read carefully, building their word-reading accuracy and fluency.

Note: If your students have already mastered some of these skills and you don't need all of the resources included in this bundle, just send me a message on TpT or email me at or and I can make a custom bundle priced at 50% off, containing only the resources you specify. I can also add on my phonemic awareness and phonics picture card packs, digital decodable books, or any other resource from my store.
