Description

Everything you need to have a student led conference virtually! We have done student-led conferences for years. They are a great way for the students to reflect on their own progress and take ownership of their work.

This digital version uses Google Slides that can be filled out by your students to prepare for their conferences and then shared with parents using a virtual conferencing app such as Zoom or Google Meet. The slides are easy to use and editable.

This is a Google Slides Digital Product, find the printable version here!

Students will complete the following slides:

  • Hollywood Star-Start the conference with this cute Walk of Fame template that students can add a picture of themselves and write about why they are a superstar.

  • Backstage Pass-Students will reflect and score themselves on behaviors and work habits.

  • Setting the Stage for Success- Students will record their current grades/scores along with a goal that they have for the different subjects.

  • Spotlight On-This page can be used to record points for a program that you use in the classroom, such as Class Dojo or Accelerated Reader. They can also share how they think they are doing with reading at home and classwork and type any goals that they have for the next 9 weeks.

  • My Reflection Page-On this slide students will reflect on some of their likes/dislikes, favorites, and things that they have learned so far.

  • Possible Questions for Parents-At the end of the conference, parents can choose follow up questions to ask their child.

  • Thank You Fan Letter-Your students can thank their adoring fans for attending their conference with this letter.

❤️"This was so fantastic this year as we had all of our interviews online. My Grade 2's and 3's were superstars running their own interview with their parents. The final slide of a letter to their adoring fans was not only a great way to do some letter writing but the parents all melted when they received their well deserved thank you's. Thank you for this resource."
