This is a story about some young science students who while attempting to perform an experiment in ocean wave modification discover a mysterious substance that is causing local wildlife to go crazy. They find that not only does the mysterious substance cause psychological effects, but their experiments are affecting wildlife too. Their attempt to create an underwater parabola to focus the waves into a fountain in Looking Glass Bay ends in a disastrous shipwreck. It is a learning experience for the students on the scientific method, problems of prejudging people, and issues of experimenting outside in the environment. This is a mystery story with wave theory inserted in a way that allows thought and discussion on the scientific soundness of the activities of the students and whither the experiments they perform are even possible. The book is 84 pages in PDF and Microsoft Word formats.
