This set includes 3 games with a focus on digraph “ch.” A brief description of each game is given below. Rules and how to play are listed in each game. These games are perfect for small group instruction and literacy center activities when teaching or reviewing digraph "ch."
Let’s Cheer for CH!
In this game, students help the cheerleaders build a pyramid by identifying pictures that begin with the /ch/ sound and sorting them from those that do not begin with the /ch/ sound.
Chihuahuas and Chips and Cheese, Oh My!
In this game, students practice reading words that begin with digraph “ch.” The object is to help the chihuahua follow the chips to get to the cheese. Included are 12 “ch” word cards with short vowels and 12 “ch” word cards with long vowels to allow for differentiation.
This game is played like traditional checkers except that students read words that begin with or end with digraph “ch” each time they move a playing piece to a new square. This game also includes a follow-up activity.
