These Decodable stories focus on Digraphs sh, ch, th, wh, ck. I have found that most students need extra practice with these tricky digraphs especially students with special education needs. I made these stories to give my students that extra practice. There are 10 fully decodable stories with some carefully placed sight words. It is suitable for Orton-Gillingham instruction using Barton Reading, Wilson Reading and S.P.I.R.E. and other reading interventions. They also have cloze passges which are great for fluency and comprehension. There are Color and Black and White Options. All Print and Ready to Go.Great for kiddos who need a bit of extra practice.I use these for my students with dyslexia and they are fantastic. I put mine in a binder and use wipe off markers to save on ink and time.
The CVC Binder should be used before these stories.
If you need more Decodable Stories that follow the Orton-Gillingham sequence, why not try this Bundle.

There is a space for writing in the missing words within the cloze passages. This is to help students add writing to their reading. Writing is the kinesthetic aspect of reading.
