This is a fun game that goes along with teaching students about the beginning and ending digraph sounds of ch, sh, th, wh.
Idea of the game:
The students will separate the pictures, words, and cones into three different piles. They will then match them. A completed ice cream cone will have the word, the picture of the word, and an ice cream cone. They will then fill out the recording sheet/worksheet.
Teacher prep needed:
-Print out all pages. For added durability laminate.
-Cut out the ice cream scopes and cones. When cutting, either cut along the square grid lines for a quicker prep, or along the actual items if you have time.
This game includes:
- Student direction sheet
- Student answer key
- 48 different ice cream cones
- 2 page recording sheet/worksheet with answer key
