Resource Prep: Each of the center games should be printed on cardstock and laminated to use yearly.. Directions for each game are on each center game. Note: You may use as many cards as you want for each game and some game boards may be printed back to back to save on cardstock. Worksheets can be just copied on regular copy paper for the number of students you have.

Large & small versions on the blend letter cards are available to use with blend introduction, to use with sorting mats, small group activities & centers. There are both the large and small versions of each of the diagraph letters.

Word cards for each of the digraph sound . These cards can be used in digraph introduction, use with sorting mats, small group activities and centers. There are nine pictures represent each of the digraphs.
There are three different types of mats: one to sort two different digraphs; one to sort three different digraphs; and one to sort four different digraphs. These mats can be used in small group instruction or for center activities. You choose which digraphs you would like to sort and give them the picture cards that will go with the digraphs you have chosen for them to sort.
There are five different types of worksheets that include: cut and paste digraphs sort; write the correct digraphs; find and color the correct digraphs; write digraphs word from word bank; and draw your own digraphs. There is a set for each of the digraphs and worksheets with a combination of all the digraphs. Answer Keys are provided for those that are needed.
Games to Play:
Choose which digraphs students are sorting and the sorting mat they are using. Students take the picture cards given and sort the cards under the correct beginning digraphs letter card.
You can choose certain digraphs in the game or use all cards at once. Matching Game: Children match the pictures digraphs with the correct letter digraph. Memory Game: Children can play this by placing the cards face down in rows. They take turns turning two cards over to see if the digraph letter matches the picture card digraphs sound. If it does, they keep both cards, if not they turn the cards back over and the next child has a turn. The person who has the most matches wins the game.

If student can read the word, they keep it, if they cannot they must put it back. They must read all their cards, the person who has the most cards wins. If it does, they keep both cards, if not they turn the cards back over and the next child has a turn. The person who has the most matches wins the game.
