A great literacy center activity for digraph (sh, th, ch, wh) practice! In this activity students sort ants with pictures on the them into the correct digraph picnic basket. For example, the ant on the picnic blanket has a picture of tooth and the students place that ant in the "th" picnic basket. It also comes with sorting mats for (sh, th, ch) and pictures not attached to the ants. Students will putting ants into the correct basket. This activity can be self checking by writing the correct answer on the back of the picture cards. You can have students pass out picture cards or take turns drawing cards from a pile. This activity would be perfect at a literacy center or for students who have finished work. This activity also comes with 4 different worksheets.
