Practice sh, ch, tch digraphs with this fun, fall and Halloween phonics reading game. Great for small group intervention, tutoring, and word work centers, and read to partner centers. While it aligns with Superkids, this is not exclusive, as it provides isolated digraph practice for any student needing additional practice.
Are your students needing digraph practice? Wanting to keep the learning fun before it becomes frustrating, I created this camping themed read and keep game.
60 digraph cards (sh, ch, tch) are included, as well as 12 'change it up cards.' The goal is to get the most cards, and the game suddenly stops when students pull a card telling them to 'stop.'
Directions are included with easy to read sight words and pictures, and suggestions for volunteers are included.
I hope you and your students enjoy! This type of card game is quickly becoming a class favorite for my firsties. I love that they are still learning and also how little prep it is (even when laminating). Place the cards in a can (save those coffee cans!) or a small paper bag, and your kids are set to go.
