This material contains a lesson plan and related resources to be used when introducing the digraph /ou/.
Why should you choose this when there are a lot of Jolly Phonics resources already available?
You have a mixed classroom, some children have already learned the digraphs (maybe with another teacher, maybe in the previous year), but some others are not familiar with the Jolly Phonics programme (maybe they are new in your school). You don’t want the former group to come up with the nasty “But, Miss, we know it, we’ve already done that!!!”
You have children in your class with a poor memory for letters and words and they need further practice.
