I made this colorful activity to review beginning Digraphs with my kiddos. I wanted something different from "sorting", and found my kids enjoyed centers where they had to "clip" to select the correct answer...so I thought this would be a fun activity to make. Then if I am unable to be at the center to monitor my darlings on accuracy, I have created a practice/recording sheet that corresponds to the cards. You can use it in addition to the cards, or just alone. I have included 24 picture cards (and on the practice/recording sheet there is 18 of the 24 pictures). The cards include 6 of each digraph (ch-, sh-, th-, wh-). Each card contains 3 chosen digraphs, that your students will choose from to "clip" with a clothespin! Then on the recording sheet they will see the same pictures with the same 4 selected digraphs for each, and they can either dab with a bingo marker or color the correct digraph. Your students can also color the pictures at the end of the activity for fun! Use this as a literacy center during your reading rotations, or incorporate it where you see fit, like with spelling! Hope you like!!
