Writing and using Dilation Rules to dilate figures on a coordinate plane. The notes page introduces the concept of Scale Factor, provides graphic examples of an enlargement and a reduction and a place for students to write down their observations about what happens to the x and y values in each ordered pair, from which they then write the transformation rule. The practice page provides additional problems for students to complete on their own.
