This activity is for composing and decomposing numbers. Students take turns drawing a card. The students fill the cup with the number of beads that corresponds to the number on the card. The student shakes the cup and spills the beads. They then count, how many beads landed on the dinosaur, and how many did not. They can repeat with the same number a few times to see how many different ways they can make a number. Includes playing board, process chart, recording sheet, and number cards.
