Create major excitement in your center area with a dinosaur nest with egg replicas!
Dinosaur egg replicas that are hardened around a plastic skeleton for your paleontologists to excavate will generate enthusiasm to compliment your unit on fossils and dinosaurs.
You will need to place the egg(s) in something like a box top to catch the dust and debris that surrounds the skeleton. You will need to provide a small hammer, screwdriver, and paintbrush or toothbrush to give the feel of tools of the trade.
Encourage GENTLE movement as they need to protect the skeletal remains of the dinosaur. These can last a few days in the center depending on how careful your paleontologists are.
The eggs are hand made, approximately 5 inches long and weigh about 1 pound each.
Because of the size and weight, shipping is $7.00 for an individual egg. I am selling these in 4 packs and 6 packs as well in order for teams of teachers to save money on shipping. These multiple packs will ship for $12.35.
Due to the weight and cost of shipping, the eggs will be available in the United States only.
The pictures are my actual students thoroughly enjoying this activity.
