1. Using the Qui suis-je pictures, you can divide your class into two teams. Give each team a flyswatter. They come up to the front of the room. You can start describing the dinosaur using the descriptions in your characteristics handout. Students must select the right image you are describing. If your class is strong enough, you can also pick a student to be the caller who describes the dinosaur. I have student use the sentence structures of Je suis or J’ai….
2. You could also simply play without the pictures. Allow students to come up with their research page. They can pick a dinosaur that they are without telling the class. Students must ask them questions like “Est-ce que tu as or Est-ce que tu es?” And the student(s) at the front can answer oui or non. My rule is that they must ask 3 questions about the dinosaur first before they can guess what it is. Student(s) to guess first then get a turn “being” a dinosaur.
