These dinosaur snap cube letter mats are sure to engage your dino-loving students. This set of 12 dinosaur theme alphabet mats includes both uppercase and lowercase pages for the following letters: a, b, d, e, f, o, p, s, and t (there are some repeated letters, such as triceratops and t-rex.) These worksheets address 3 skills:

· Recognizing letter shapes

· Learning common initial sounds

· Practicing letter discrimination

Students build each letter with snap cubes borrowed from your math manipulative supplies. As they work they can fill in the accompanying recording sheet where they match the snap cube letter to the "real" letter.
