“Dinosaurs” and “little learners” go together like peanut butter and jelly! Their various sizes, different characteristics, sharp teeth, grandiose names, and all the questions left behind by their fossils are just exploratory learning at its best! These differentiated writing prompts are meant to engage students and their imaginations through their writing and illustrations.
These writing prompts can be used
- throughout a dinosaur unit
- prompts for a writing center
- as “early finisher” activities
- compiled together as a class book
– or left for writing activities for a sub.
Also included are title pages if you choose to make a class book about dinosaurs. On the next page, check out some of the work my students have created, as well as 3 of our favorite dinosaur read-alouds that capture the imagination!
I hope your students enjoy this as much as mine did. Remember to leave feedback and let us know what you think.
