These dinosaurs activities have everything you need for literacy and the prehistoric period with your students. This unit contains reading comprehension passages and a coloring diorama activity. Students will learn about: Ankylosaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Pterodactyl, Veloceraptor, and the Apatosaurus (or Brontosaurus). Other prehistoric creatures are also included in this lesson: The Ichtyosaurus, Mammoth, and Sabre Tooth Tiger. This unit is perfect for literacy activities as well as Science.

This dinosaurs unit is fun and engaging. Once students have learned about the dinosaurs and prehistoric animals, they can create their own diorama pop up books.
