Animated Step-by-Steps® are animated PowerPoints designed to address literacy, language, AAC and a host of academic goals. Each page includes a series of animations. Read the text up to the star … click … and see an animation of what you just read.
There are three versions of this resource. This is the SymbolStix Version (n2y).
Dinosaurs Poem is used with permission of Meish Goldish. It can be sung to the tune of Pussy Cat Pussy Cat Where Have You Been! There is an upfront to the poem that introduces six dinosaurs and makes a distinction between Plant Eaters and Meat Eaters. After introducing the 3 dinosaurs on these ‘intro pages’ students can touch their names to announce them out loud. The poem itself discusses the fact that dinosaurs lived long ago … became extinct … where they lived … some ate plants some ate meat …. some were huge!
