Description

Kids love dinosaurs! Take advantage of that and practice those text features, too! Make a Nonfiction Text Features Booklet all about dinosaurs. This package is a fabulous resource for reading informational text, writing about reading, adding details to writing, vocabulary studying, using non-fiction text features, hands-on cutting and gluing, and more!

Students read about a dinosaur topic, write about it, complete a text feature related activity, use a table of contents and glossary, and add to their work with decorations and illustrations. In the end, they have a Dinosaur Booklet! Best of all, they will have practiced using nonfiction text features in an authentic, fun format!

This set is not meant to be a comprehensive dinosaur study- it’s a reading/writing unit to enhance your study of this topic and provide cross-curricular work to best use your precious classroom time.
