This 4-part scaffolded worksheet focuses on direct objects and direct object pronouns in Spanish. It uses vocabulary from Avancemos 2, Unidad 1, Lección 1: Vamos de viaje. Students look at parallel sentences in English and Spanish, determine what a direct object is, and find the direct objects and direct object pronouns in Spanish sentences. The last part of the worksheet asks students to write new sentences replacing the direct object with a direct object pronoun.
My students had a lot of success with this worksheet. While my higher students flew through it, it really helped ones who struggle with grammar understand what a direct object pronoun is in both English and Spanish. If it helps your students, too, let me know by leaving me feedback!
