My students love to play games, and I am sure yours do too. The following is a fun PowerPoint game you can use to help your students distinguish between direct object and indirect objects.
Copy the letter cards onto cardstock. Then, cut the letters out. Laminate them to make sure that last for more than one use. Then, either clip or paste them to rulers or fly swatters. Place your students in teams. Give each team a set of answer cards. Show each slide. The teams must hold up the correct answer card. The team who answers first AND has the correct answer receives the point. This continues until all of the slides have been shown. The team with the most points wins.
