Direct Variation Notes and Bingo Game
Students are introduced to the basics of direct variation through organized notes. They discover the concept of a constant ratio when given ordered pairs and tables. The notes also cover identifying direct variation equations and graphs, as well as finding a missing value given a direct variation relationship.
The Bingo game practices identifying the constant of a direct variation given ordered pairs and tables, as well as finding missing values within ordered pairs. The colored circles on the first slide represent the problems. Once you click “Answer” on the board, the answer will appear so students can check and discuss their answers. They look for this answer on their bingo board and cross it out. They win if they get 5 in a row, column, or diagonal.
