This 2-page worksheet contains seven excerpts from popular authors (JK Rowling, Stephen King, George R.R. Martin, Dean Koontz, Jodi Picoult, Kate Forsyth and Michael Crichton) of varying genres from high fantasy to horror. Students then must rewrite these excerpts in the opposite mode of speech.
