Direct and Inverse Variation: Cut and Paste Activity
The first page is a side-by-side reference sheet for students to review the direct and inverse variation concepts. This helps reinforce the following:
-How to check for direct/inverse variation given ordered pairs.
-The equation form for direct/inverse variation.
-The graph for direct/inverse variation.
-How to solve problems using direct/inverse variation.
The second sheet is a cut, sort, and paste activity. The students cut out the cards and paste them on either the left side (direct variation) or the right side (inverse variation). It's a good review of the concepts before a quiz or test.
An answer key to both the reference sheet and cart sort activity is included.
