Directed Drawing and Writing Packet - May, June and July
This packet of 20 worksheets will help you integrate 'May, June and July' themed learning with writing and art.
Directed drawing allows young students to feel successful on their journey learning to draw and helps to motivate their writing.
This packet includes 2 styles of each of the 10 projects. One version is simply for students to draw, the other is a "Read, Draw, Write" style worksheet. Stduents read the words in the word bank, follow the directed steps to draw a picture (and they may add additional drawings) and then lines are provided for students to write a sentence or two about their picture or the topic.
These drawings can be completed on the worksheet, or you could have your students draw the image onto a larger piece of art paper and add additional features and details.
Directed drawings included in this file are:
teacup (Mother‘s Day)
baseball & bat
Best Dad prize (Father's Day)
