Directed Drawing is a great way to engage students and cover art standards at the same time! Use them to enhance your thematic units or close reads! Teachers can lead their class in a whole group style drawing lesson, or leave the page in a writing/drawing station for independent use. They're also helpful for learning to follow directions and listening skills. They are great for distance learning because there is a video and easy to follow directions.
There are at least 5 drawings per month with step by step direction page for months Aug-May. There are a total of 54 drawings now that I am finished. The drawings are of varying difficulty but are perfect for K-2+.
