Are you looking for an easy and effective way to give directions without repeating yourself over and over? This is a wonderful cue for students who need repetition and visual cues. It gives all students a visual aide with the sequential order that a task should be completed in. I also like to keep the ordinal number sequence words across the top of my Promethean board for easy access. Simply state a direction to the class and then post which order it comes in. Post the ordinal number card and the picture clue to the right of it. Complete this with each direction that is part of the task.
The following have been included:
*Numbers 1 - 10 with Ordinal Words (Pages 2 - 6)
*Numbers 1st - 10th with Ordinal Words (Pages 7 - 11)
Picture Cues and Words for the Following:
*Color (with pictures for markers, crayons, color pencils - separate)
*Glue (with pictures for liquid glue and glue sticks - separate)
*Hi-Lite (picture of yellow hi-liter only)
*Dot (picture of Bingo Dauber)
*Write (pictures with pencil and dry erase marker - separate)
*Blue Folder, Green Folder, Red Folder, Purple Folder, Light Blue Folder, Yellow Folder, Orange Folder, Pink Folder - (All separate)
*A picture of each color folder with just the word "folder"
