Product Description
This lesson begins with a bellwork activity asking students to turn sentences into commands (you should have previously reviewed l'impératif with students). If you are using the "mon quartier" unit vocab, spend a few minutes practicing vocab. Then, move on to the lesson. This takes place between a tourist (asking for directions) and a local (giving step by step directions). Split the class into groups and have them alternate saying the phrases out loud. Practice the directions by having students stand up and turn in each direction. Then, play a mini simon says game as a class to assess their learning. This lesson includes a partner activity displayed on the powerpoint (you can also upload the slide for students to view on individual laptops or ipads). Students take turns asking where the pictured place is and their partner responds based on the directional arrow. A writing prompt follows asking students to give directions to the library. I also follow this up with T'es Branché level 2 workbook pg. 56 #21B
