PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Washing our hands and surfaces is very important, but it's not always easy to get kids to believe us! Using Petri dishes to show students bacteria and mold growth is a great way to make the invisible visible.
Included in this presentation is a Petri dish experiment that helps students understand how bacteria can live anywhere. This experiment is perfect for teaching health, the scientific method, and safety procedures in science. This experiment lasts about 7 days, with a 1 hour commitment the first two days and 30 minutes the next five days.
Each project includes all the lesson plans and recording sheets you need! You will need to get some Petri dishes and the ingredients for the gel.
