In this engaging fun Google® activity your students will learn about Pascal’s triangle with a series of six interactive discovery activities.
They will digitally complete a Pascal’s triangle with eleven rows, then learn about fascinating patterns in an even larger the triangle. Activities include finding Sierpinski’s triangle by digitally coloring odd and even numbers. Your students will even construct Sierpinski’s triangle with Drag and Drop construction. They will also explore the relationship between Pascal’s triangle and polygons embedded in a circle discovering a fascinating connection. They will also discover the relationship with the powers of 2.
Detailed illustrated instructions on accessing and sharing this resource with your students are included as well as the link to the product. Answer keys are provided. This activity is appropriate for grades 6 - 11. Many of these activities will lead to great discussions in your classroom.
