Students will discover how price influences buying behavior by exploring different pricing strategies marketers use. In partnerships, they will discuss questions such as, "Why would someone pay a very high price for a pair of jeans?" and, "Why would someone purchase 10 yogurts when he or she only needs 4?" Students will be introduced to concepts such as unit pricing and loss leader. This lesson includes a 2-page worksheet and answer key.
