PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is the second of a two part worksheet series. This worksheet reviews the whole, half and quarter note values and, through student self-discovery, introduces eighth and sixteenth notes. This is an excellent lesson that clearly demonstrates to students one of the many connections between music and math. The final portion of the worksheet tasks students with making predictions of other note values based on what they have learned in both worksheet #1 and #2. This worksheet allows students to make connections between the note values, discovering things like, why an eighth note is called an eighth note. Through this worksheet and the first in the series, students discover the theory behind the note values.
