This discovery lesson utilizes desmos.com calculator to help students discover the differences between graphing an equation vs. graphing an inequality. Students will discover solid vs. dotted lines and when/where shading occurs. There are also reflective questions after each discovery section.
Students can work in small groups, individually, in pairs or as a whole class.
*At the end of the lesson, I had students complete a Google Form as a quick assessment of their understanding. Students got more than 95% of the questions correct!
