This packet contains three questions per chapter for Gordon Korman's novel "WhatsHisFace." The discussion questions are purposely open-ended and subject to opinion to encourage debate and discussion in your classroom.

This packet also contains essay and creative writing prompts. All topics relate directly to issues in "WhatsHisFace," and many are also subject to opinion to encourage students to support their initial statements. Many of these ask the student to analyze and compare characters and their growth throughout the story. There are also several creative writing prompts which ask students to write letters, postcards, twitter conversations, etc. Writing prompts are written out on blank pages so that they can be printed and distributed, but they could also be written on the board or copied by students into assignment books.

In addition, because "WhatsHisFace" includes Elizabethan English from Roddy's perspective, I've included a chart of common words and phrases found in this book. There is both a blank version, for students to translate the words, and an answer key for this activity only. All other questions are open-ended to encourage critical thinking and evidence-based answers.

Please ask any and all questions before purchasing. I answer as promptly as possible.
