Product Description
This lesson helps students understand the plot and character developments in the key chapters about the Shepherdson-Grangerford feud, as well as the pivotal moment where Huck decides to apologize to Jim for having caused him emotional pain, in Mark Twain's novel Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. The lesson also includes an exemplar script of the event where Huck apologizes to Jim to give students an idea of what level of quality is expected of them in their own Readers' Theater skits, a rubric for a Readers' Theater skit, and a worksheet to help them get started on their own Readers' Theater skits based upon the Grangerford-Shepherdson chapters.
