Product Description
This lesson helps students understand the plot and character developments in the last few chapters (before the very last chapter) of Mark Twain's Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. It particularly focuses on the unnecessarily complicated and dangerous methods of escape that Tom devises (as opposed to Huck's more simple and safer ideas) as a way of contrasting how much Huck has matured and evolved while away from society's corrupting influences while Tom remained a static character, an immature boy who jeopardizes his own life and the lives of others for thrills.
